In INTRALINK rename the product under a separate proe previously under different, non-standard operation and could lead to a variety of problems, here are several non-standard operations and the consequences.
Operating a non-standard:

Standardized methods of operation:
1) If the model has been opened proe exit the software, if you have made changes, save changes, if the part has been checked in, please check in changes.
2) the object if you have not checked in, changed its name in the workspace. If the object has been checked in, changed its name in the public area. Select the need to rename the file in context menu select Rename to.
3) If completed renamed in public areas, in the work area sync selection and public areas.
4) Re-open the model will not affect the model was renamed the dependencies between them, the assembly can still find parts, drawings can also find the renamed part.
