PTC can not detect the host installation error and start the error Invalid Host ID

 [b] can not be detected during installation error PTC host ID [/ b] [/ color] [/ font] [/ size]

Symptoms: plug the Internet line, normal;
          Disconnect the network cable, PRO / E can not start; or PRO / E installation program reports "PTC can not detect the host ID";

Reason: Windows contains the "Media Sensing" feature. Using the Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol (TCP / IP) and Windows-based computer, you can use this feature detects a network media is in the "link state." By definition, "link state" refers to the physical media and network connections, or inserted into the network. For example, suppose your computer has a 10bt or 100bt physical media, Ethernet network adapters and hubs typically have a direct current connection status of the "link" light. This is the case when Windows detect the same link. As long as Windows detects that the media in a "fault" state, it will be removed from the adapter binding agreement
The adapter is detected again until the "normal work" stops. In some cases, you may not want the network adapter to detect this state, you can edit the registry for such configuration.

Solution:
For the TCP / IP disable the "Media Sensing" feature, modify the registry
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Services Tcpip Parameters]
DisableDHCPMediaSense = dword: 00000001
Restart.

 [b] start error Invalid Host [/ b] [/ color] [/ font] [/ size]
Invalid Host is PRO/E3.0 M060 to the error message, earlier versions may give Host not found error, the same principle.
The same computer may be equipped with multiple network cards (like network cards, wireless LAN, Bluetooth, etc.), each networkCard corresponding to a unique system number, PRO / E may not start, reason:
a. PRO / E does not detect the host ID;
    reference the first question;
b. Enter the host ID and the ID does not match the installation.
Solution: Modify the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows NT CurrentVersion NetworkCards
The correct number card renamed to 1, restart
